The Arts Council New Orleans believes that all citizens should be able to participate in a creative life and that the arts drive a vibrant and equitable community. All people, their culture, and their art contribute to the meaning and understanding of our humanity and should be honored and celebrated. We are proud of the broad range of arts and cultural activities supported by the Community Arts Grants program made possible by the City of New Orleans and the Louisiana Decentralized Arts Funding Program made possible by the Louisiana Division of the Arts and the State of Louisiana.

Dear New Orleans as Cultural Capital Grantee,

Congratulations on your receipt of a 2023 Community Arts Grant in the New Orleans as Cultural Capital category. We are in a transition period and while we get settled, we have extended the deadline for your final report to Friday, February 23, 2024. After review and approval of this report, you will receive your final payment of 25% of your grant.

Please be sure to read through the final report thoroughly and double-check your responses to ensure you have completed the final report accurately and that all numbers are correct before submitting. Any errors found will prolong the approval to send the final payment. Several of you have reached out to me directly with questions about your applications, and I appreciate your patience as I respond to each of you directly.

Thank you for all the arts programs and services you provide for our citizens and visitors!  Feel free to send any questions to carla@artsneworleans.org.

Thank You.
